What the Bible tells us.
Matthew 18:3-5 Jesus called a little child to Him;and said, "Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. "Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. |
Who is Jesus?
In the New Testament of the Bible we find the story of Jesus's birth, life, and death. Jesus was born in a special way and was God's Son. The Jews had been waiting for the Messiah or a Saviour to come for a long time. God had a plan to save the world from their sins. This plan included Jesus. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16Isn't this GOOD NEWS that we might have everlasting life if we believe in Him? |
Do you believe in God?
Romans 1:20-21 For since the creation of the world His invisible attriburtes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor Were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. From this scripture we are told that we have no excuse to say we do not know God, because we can know there is a God from the things around us.
You believe there is a God, you do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble. James 2:19 If the demons believe there is a God, then it must take more then just simple faith in God to be saved.
Who needs the Gospel?
Jesus told His disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 |

We are to study the Bible if we want to know how God wants us to live.
2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."This means that all of God's Word is good for teaching, correcting, and also telling us how to be right with God.
